Position Vacant VET Coordinator
Community College is seeking candidates who have a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within the Vocational Education and Training space. The VET Coordinator has a unique role in monitoring the quality of services delivered by the College.

VET COORDINATOR – HIGH RISK LICENSING

The VET Coordinator (VC) is responsible to the Executive Officer (EO) for the day-to-day administration of courses and training provided through Community College Northern Inland Inc. (CCNI), a Registered Training Organisation operating from the regional towns of Barraba, Bingara, Warialda, Inverell, Moree, Narrabri and Gunnedah. The VC may be based in any location within our campuses.

The VC will, with the EO and the rest of the CCNI team, ensure that CCNI’s practices and behaviours comply with the Standards for RTOs 2015 by providing students with quality outcomes through the key phases of the student experience.

SELECTION CRITERIA – ESSENTIAL
Well-developed personal and written communication skills
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated professional and enthusiastic manner
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work unsupervised
Accurate data entry with a strong attention to detail
Current Driver’s Licence
Understanding of Fair Work Act
Understanding of WH&S legislation
Demonstrated experience in administration position in an RTO
Demonstrated staff management and supervision skills
Evidence of ability to meet competing priorities, time management skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in RTO registration and compliance under ASQA
Cert IV accredited qualification in Training & Assessment

We seek talented, driven and industry-based trainers and assessors to work with us two days each week delivering training in the following areas:

FOUNDATION SKILLS
Learning, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication, Numeracy, Digital Technology
Foundation Skills students learn the skills listed via active and practical projects.
