    Moree Campus

    Community College Northern Inland Inc. is calling for suitably qualified applicants for the position of Clerical Assistant at the Moree Community College campus. The Clerical Assistant will work under the direction of the Campus Coordinator to complete allocated tasks with a focus on student services and general administration duties. This part-time role is 15 hours/pw Tuesday to Thursday.


    Essential Criteria

    • Previous experience or recent training in office administration including data input and invoicing
    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft 365 or similar cloud system including Word, Outlook and Excel
    • Intermediate skills in email and file management
    • Ability to work in a high volume environment
    • Attention to detail and mature work ethic
    • An interest in the training sector as a career
    • Experience using third party software and apps such as customer or student management systems and social media platforms
    • Experience working unsupervised as part of a team
    • Experience working in a confidential environment with the ability to use good judgement (common sense)
    • Commitment to excellence in customer service
    • Current Working With Children Check
    • National Police Clearance Certificate.

    Desirable Criteria

    • Experience in a similar clerical role within the community or government sector
    • Experience providing clerical assistance for government funded programs
    • Ability to work additional hours at short notice when required (including Monday, Friday, Saturday), ie. covering sick/holiday leave
    • Current car driver’s licence
    • Car with comprehensive insurance.
