Waiting Skills

The Waiting Skills course is for all persons requiring the skills and knowledge to serve food and beverages to customers in a casual dining setting. This may include hotels, clubs, cafes, and cofffee shops

Units of Competency undertaken in this course are:
SITXFSA001 Use hygienci practices for food safety
SITHFAB007 Serve food and beverage

This course covers the fundamental technical skills required to prepare the outlet for the service period, interact with customers to take orders , serve and clear food and beverage, and complete end of service tasks.

This unit covers, prepare food and beverage service, welcome and advise customers, take and process orders, serve food and drinks, clear food and drinks, complete end of shift duties


This training will be delivered and assessed by Coates Hospitality Services, trading as Australian Training & Consulting (ATAC) - RTO ID 90866. Statements of Attainment will be issued by ATAC.
