Leatherwork: Roo Hide Whip Making (4-strand)

This is a 2-day intensive course presented by renowned local whipmaker, John McMaster. Students come from far and wide to learn the specialised techniques that John is famous for. This class is recommended for those who have previously completed the basic 4-strand red-hide whipmaking course as the techniques taught are more complex.

This workshop has an added materials cost of +/- $150 that will need to be paid to the trainer in cash on the day.
Please bring a small but very sharp knife to cut the leather! Ideally a knife from a Tyre Workshop which is used to cut the valve stem off the tyre.

This is a very hands-on workshop where you’ll be interacting with both the trainer and other participants in a “community of learning” environment. People who come to our leatherwork courses leave feeling part of the family. Bring along your lunch which you can enjoy in the company of others. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

This course has no current classes. Please the waiting list.
