Introduction to Careers in Hospitality

Have you ever considered a career in hospitality? In this hands-on introduction course you will learn the basic skills involved in working in the Hospitality Industry.
International Chef Friedy Meinel will introduce students to the different roles within the industry with practical demonstrations.
This fun and interactive program is a great foundation for anyone seeking to work in the exciting world of Hospitality.

This course is delivered and assessed by RTO Community College Northern Inland Inc (RTO No: 90027) who issue the Statement of Attainment to successful participants.

Assessments are made against units of competency.
  • Read and respond to basic workplace information (FSKRDG04)
  • Engage in basic spoken exchanges at work (FSKOCM02)
  • Write basic workplace information (FSKWTG03)
  • Locate, compare and use highly familiar measurements for work (FSKNUM04)
