Drypoint Etching

Drypoint Etching

You don't need any experience to join this class. Just come along and have fun with award-winning printmaker, Lizzie Horne as you learn to create something beautiful!

An introduction to drypoint etching, making marks directly onto the printing plates - no acid required!

Add colour and drama with Chine collé papers, then print on beautiful paper using luscious French ink.

When attending this class you should wear closed toe shoes for safety, and dress comfortably with long hair tied back. An apron is ideal to protect clothing.

Feel free to bring along any special papers you would like to use for Chine collé. Rice paper is ideal, and any patterned paper you may have stashed in a drawer! Chine collé papers should not be thicker than 150gsm. A choice of papers will be provided on the day.
