This course will give you a taste of what is involved in this growing industry, and teach you some of the key skills required by community service workers.

Learn practical skills in infection control as well as crucial communication and digital skills for the workplace.

Introduction to Community Care is an excellent preparation course for anyone wanting to study CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services in 2020.

This course includes units of competency from:

  • FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways; and
  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.

This training will be delivered by Community College Northern Inland Inc. - Registered Training Organisation 90027.

Assessments are made against units of competency.
  • Write routine workplace texts (FSKWTG09)
  • Use digital technology for routine workplace tasks (FSKDIG03)
  • Interact effectively with others at work (FSKOCM07)
  • Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures (HLTINF001)
