FINDING & SECURING FUNDING with Trainer

With special “tricks of the trade” and “ hints & tips” and tailored to your chosen funding program Sally has been applying for funds for more than twelve years in rural communities and estimates she has completed more than forty funding applications, accessing millions of dollars of funding for communities in Qld & NSW. Course includes: Step One – Getting “Funding Ready” Step Two – Searching for Funding Step Three – Doing the Application Step Four – Doing the Application Budget Step Five – Application Outcome Step Six – Doing the Acquittal When: Wednesday 4 Nov 9am - pm or Sunday 8 Nov 9am – 1pm Cost: $110.00 per person (min 8 people) WORK SAFELY in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY (CPCCOHS1001A) Recognised by WorkCover in NSW, Qld and Victoria. Your first aid certificate must be current and must be shown to the trainer on the day. Cost: $95.00 CPR Update your CPR skills with this quick 2 hour refresher When: Wednesday 11 Nov or Saturday 12 Dec 9am-11am ANAPHYLAXIS WORKSHOPS Anaphylaxis is the most severe form of allergic reaction and has the potential to be life threatening. It occurs after exposure to an allergen to which a person is already extremely sensitive. Take this opportunity to learn about anaphylaxis, covering known triggers, care and treatment. When: Saturday 21 Nov 10am – 12pm (2hrs) Cost: $20.00 ADVANCED RESUSCITATION This course deals with the provision of advanced first aid response, life support, management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers. Essential: Current First Aid Certificate (completed within the last 12 months) When: Saturday 21 Nov 1 – 3pm(2hrs) Cost: $35.00 This course is for farmers, graziers, horticulturists, market gardeners, nursery workers and Local Government employees. When: Tuesday 8 & Wednesday 9 Dec 9am -4pm Cost: $285.00 Full course - Re-accreditation $200.00 When: Tuesday 1 Dec 9am – 5pm Where: Narrabri Golf Club This course is designed for adults who would like to improve their reading and writing skills. When: Tuesdays commencing 27 Oct 10.30am -12.30pm EXCELLENCE in CUSTOMER SERVICE The ability to work smoothly and deliver professional services to clients and customers is a highly valued employment skill. Join us for three hours to develop and build upon professional customer knowledge and expertise. When: Tuesday 1 Dec 9am – 12md Cost: $50 Get your Owner Builder Qualification via Distance Education (mail or online). Course material and questionnaire will be supplied and will take approx 8 hours to complete. This course is run by Asset Building Consultants and is approved by the Office of Fair Trading. Please be aware that you will not be able to use this accreditation in Qld. When: Tuesday 17 Nov or Saturday 5 Dec 9am – 4pm Cost: $85.00 RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMBLING (SITHGAM006A) The qualification is a requirement for all persons working in the hospitality industry at venues with gaming machines. When: Wednesday 18 Nov or Sunday 6 Dec 9am-4pm Cost: $80.00 FOLLOW WORKPLACE HYGIENE PROCEDURES - SAFE FOOD HANDLING (SITXOHS002A) For staff and volunteers working in the hospitality industry. This accreditation involves the safe and hygienic preparation, storage and service of food and beverages. Cost: $80.00 The aim of this course is to familiarise parents and carers of babies and children with the Basic First Aid principles and CPR. Units: HLTFA201A – Provide basic emergency life support & HLTCPR201A – Perform CPR.
